Birmingham Mint "Ancient Counties of England" silver medal collection, comprising 40 medals engraved with image of the county and reverse inscribed "To commemorate the boundary changes to the ancient Counties of England 31st March 1974". This was a limited edition of 2500 in presentation case. The Box also contains a County description pamphlet together with a map depicting the UK Counties by Willem and Johan Blaeu in 1635. This is a wonderful item and in very good condition.
